(More customer reviews)It's a cheap lap desk that keeps laptop heat off of your legs, and provides a hard surface for things like reading and writing. However, the light is poorly made and just gets in the way of a laptop.
Pros:
- Keeps the laptop heat off of you
- Pillowy bottom allows the desk to rest comfortably on your lap
- Hard surface allows the laptop to cool itself more effectively
Cons:
- Cheap construction is apparent
- Light broke after a couple months
- light and cup holder are awkward and get in the way of my 13" laptop
- Desk is probably too small for a laptop any bigger than 14"
- Edges of desk are a little hard and rough, making it uncomfortable to rest the desk close to your body or to place your forearms on the edge while typing.
Final Word:
This desk might be good if you plan on using it as a reading desk or a table to eat in bed on, but take your own chances with how long the light will work for and don't spend more than $15 on it.
* I didn't buy this product through Amazon, but it looks like I definitely have an identical one, which I picked up from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
